Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and VectoCut. By creating an account or using the service you accept them and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use VectoCut.

1. Who we are

VectoCut (vectocut.com) is run by Esteban Adrian Restrepo Escobar, an individual (persona natural) resident in Bogotá, Colombia. It is not a company. Contact: support@vectocut.com.

2. What the service does

You upload an image. VectoCut turns it into machine-ready files: DXF (laser and CNC), SVG (Cricut and Silhouette) and PDF. Previews are free and watermarked. When you like a preview, you spend one credit to download its three files.

3. Your account

• You sign in with your email and a one-time code. Keep your email account secure; actions made from your account are your responsibility.
• You must be at least 18 (16 in the European Union). See the Privacy Policy.
• Give us a real email address. One person, one account; do not use several accounts to get around limits.

4. Credits, plans and payment

All payments are one-time. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.

• One credit = one download of one preview’s three files (SVG, DXF and PDF). Downloading the same preview again is free.
• Open beta bonus: new accounts get 5 free downloads, which expire after 3 months.
• Credits are used first from the lot that expires soonest.
• Expired credits are not refunded and cannot be recovered.
• Refunds must be requested within 14 days of purchase. The 2 and 10 download packs are refunded in full only if no credit has been used; the 250 download plan is refunded in full if unused, or for the unused part minus a 20% fee on that part. See the Refund Policy.
• Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred and cannot be exchanged for money, except for refunds under the Refund Policy.
• Prices are in US dollars. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record: it sells the credits to you, charges you, handles VAT and sales tax, and issues your receipt. Lemon Squeezy’s own terms apply to the purchase. Your card details are entered on Lemon Squeezy, never on vectocut.com.

5. Your images and your rights

• You keep all rights to your images and to the files made from them. You give us permission only to process them to make your files.
• You declare that you have the rights to every image you upload, including any copyright, trademark or personal rights it involves.
• We do not use your images to train models and we do not sell them.
• Images and generated files are deleted automatically after about 24 hours (at most 48). Download what you need before then. We do not keep backups of them.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use VectoCut to:

• upload illegal content;
• upload content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
• upload sexual content involving minors (CSAM). We will remove it, close the account and report it to the authorities;
• attack, overload or probe the service, bypass limits or quotas, or use bots or scraping without permission;
• resell the service or use it to build a competing service through automated access.

Reporting abuse. If you think something on VectoCut breaks these rules or your rights, write to support@vectocut.com with “Abuse” in the subject, and tell us what and where. We will review it promptly.

7. Your files are provided “as is”

VectoCut makes the best files it can from the image you give it, but results depend on the image. We do not promise that a file is perfect, that it fits your machine or material, or that it suits a particular purpose.

Always check the files (shapes, size, cut order, settings) and do a test on cheap material before cutting expensive material. We are not liable for damage to material, tools or machines, or for lost time.

8. Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows:

• The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may have downtime or errors.
• Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or lost business.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away consumer rights that cannot be waived in your country.

9. Changes to the service and to these terms

The service may change: features, formats, prices, limits or availability. If we change prices, credits you already bought keep what you paid for. If we change these terms in a meaningful way we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you. Using the service after a change means you accept it.

10. Closing accounts

You can stop using VectoCut at any time and ask us to delete your account (support@vectocut.com). We may suspend or close an account for abuse, fraud, breaking these terms or legal reasons. If we close an account without a breach on your side, we will refund unused, unexpired credits.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live, and you can also use the courts or authorities of your country where the law gives you that right. Before going to court, please write to us first so we can try to solve it.
